My life is not like how it used to be
A year ago I was still back in uni struggling with assignments and part-time jobs
I had to take care of my lil' brother, the apartment, paying bills, church activities & other social activities I used to have in Perth..
Now my life is totally different and was never like how i thought or anyone else thought it's gonna be
I live here in Ubud, working at an NGO (non govermental organisation), which was i really wanted to do anyway.. but life is just different..
My work is great.. I love it.. Working in Community Based Disaster Management (CBDM) department which has taught me a lot of things this past few months.
What i do for work is basically doing all this activities related to CBDM like doing community training, developing media, making reports to donours, budgeting, etc..etc..
It's been really interesting so far, though there are so many things i need to know and learn.
In terms of church life, I dont really have a regular church.. I sometimes go to a church in Ubud, sometimes in Denpasar.. Transportation will be my excuse for not being so involve in church related activities or maybe I just want a break with all the ministry since I was so busy with those routine for the past 3.5 years so i might wanna have a little break and just be regular attender (well not so reguler since i go out of town alot :P )
In terms of social life, i dont really go out or hang out with people outside work, yeah..i know thats a bit pathetic.. At the moment i live in my boss house and spend most of time with her family.. It's not bad actually coz the kids keep me going when i feel tired esp. Jasmine the little one... She just lights up my life.. But eventhough my social life is not that fantastic but i have close friends who i can share my life with and I am greatful.. Sometimes my bestfrien back in perth give me a randome call once every 2 weeks which's really great and I'm so thankful she does that coz i guess I'm just as bad as keeping in touch (like every other friends i have)..
